[For Your Halloween Enjoyment]
retroCRUSH's 100 scariest movie scenes. My faves:

19. Willy Wonka's boatride to hell: I always hated this part of the movie, especially the part where the centipede thing is crawling around the woman's mouth. WTF?

45. Poltergeist: I was a huge scaredy-cat as a kid, so when my friend decided to watch this movie when I slept over her house one night, I kept my eyes diverted from the screen the whole time. That is, until she said, "Hey, look," at this particular scene and I stupidly listened. I was literally haunted by this image for the next few years of my life.

52. The Ring: Okay, I admit, as horror films go, this one ranks pretty low on the scare factor. But I'm a veritable lightweight, and thus was freaked out for the whole following week after watching this movie, largely due to the scene from the link. [And no, I did not click on the link to see the screenshot. I do want to sleep tonight]
